Food Industry, Hospital, and Industrial Plant Applications where fiberglass cannot be used and large cubic volumes of air must be handled. Recommended for high moisture atmospheric conditions as well as areas with a high concentration of fine dust. Effective as a pre-filter for high efficiency and absolute filters. Designed as replacement roll for all automatic roll filter machines.
Air Filter Media
High bulk, non-woven polyester synthetic fibers thermo-bonded with fire retardant resin forms a high loft blanket of resilient fibers. Irregular cross section to trap extremely fine particles of contaminants and provide superior depth loading. The media is compressed on the spool to a small diameter, but recovers its full depth when exposed to the air stream.
Operates at velocities of 1,000 to 1,500 CFM with minimum compression. Withstands direct moisture and has temperature range of -40°F to +450°F without deterioration or media failure. Ready to install when received and requires no modifications or adapters. Rolls contain paper starters and trailers to assure full utilization. Sealed in plastic bags to prevent media contamination and are packed in rugged shipping containers. Scrim backing is standard with synthetic rolls which are available dry or tackified.
